HLA

The HLA Laboratory provides histocompatibility testing and consultative support for organ and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, including one of the nation’s most active renal transplant programs and organ procurement organizations. The laboratory also provides testing for platelet transfusion and HLA-associated diseases. Services include low and high resolution HLA typing, HLA antibody detection and identification, post-transplant antibody monitoring, and consultative support for donor selection and management of high-risk transplants. The laboratory is accredited by the American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics.
